Indications:

• Acute myocardial infarction - 5 mg intravenous infusion every 2 minutes. Maximum total dose 15 mg (depending on blood pressure and heart rate)
• Cardiac arrhythmias - Initial intravenous infusion up to 5 mg at a rate of 1-2 mg/min. Repeat the dose at 5-minute intervals until a satisfactory response is achieved. 10-15 mg is usually sufficient.
• Anesthesia - Slow intravenous infusion of 2-4 mg. Additional doses of 2 mg may be given as required. Maximum total dose 10 mg.
