«True Flow» Valvuloplasty Perfusion Catheter
The True Flow™ from BD is a flow-through valvuloplasty perfusion catheter for balloon aortic valvuloplasty, designed to maintain continuous blood flow during dilation, regardless of heart rate. It features a durable fiber-based shell and an open inner lumen, aiming for low hemodynamic resistance, reliable dilation, and better support in valvular interventions.

Advantages
- The open inner lumen allows continuous cardiac flow while the balloon is inflated.
- The fiber-based shell provides resistance to rupture and maintains catheter integrity
- It is available in diameters of 18, 20, 22, 24, and 26 mm, all with a common length of 3.5 cm.
- It can also be used as a support tool in transcatheter aortic valve implantation, according to the TAVI system instructions.
- It is sterile, single use, with no reuse or resterilization
Use
The True Flow is indicated for balloon aortic valvuloplasty, that is, percutaneous dilation of the aortic valve in patients with aortic stenosis.
It requires careful size selection based on imaging, such as TTE, CT, angiography, or TEE, and appropriate anticoagulation coverage, with a recommended ACT of about 200 seconds during use.
The product is available in:
18 mm.
20 mm.
22 mm.
24 mm.
26 mm.
The device is particularly useful when valvuloplasty with flow support is desired, so as to reduce hemodynamic burden during dilation and increase the safety of the procedure.
For the next ones, do you want to always keep this exact structure (same line breaks and formatting), or are you planning to adjust layout later in your design tool?
