BioMime stent system
The BioMime™ is a modern coronary stent that elutes sirolimus, designed to biologically mimic the vessel’s natural healing process. With an ultrathin 65 μm structure and an innovative hybrid design, it offers high flexibility, optimized radial strength, and excellent access to side branches, reducing edge-related complications.

Advantages
- 65 μm (0.065 mm) thickness for minimal penetration into the vessel wall and improved biocompatibility.
- Closed cells at the edges + open cells in the middle for Morphology Mediated Expansion™, reducing edge dissections.
- Very thin (<2 μm), stable and elastic polymer that is absorbed after drug release.
- 1.25 μg/mm² drug loading, released over 30 days, without risk of necrosis.
- Non-linear S-links + Y-connectors for easy passage in tortuous vessels.
Use
BioMime is used for the treatment of patients with de novo coronary artery disease in native coronary vessels.
Vessel criteria: Diameter 2.25–3.50 mm, lesion length 8–48 mm (compatible with 2.00–4.50 mm stent diameter).
Particularly suitable for:
Very long lesions (30–56 mm) with BioMime Morph (with an average length of 45.54 mm in clinical use).
Tortuous vessels due to high flexibility.
Cases requiring side branch access.
Deployment: Rapid Exchange delivery system, 9 ATM nominal pressure, 16 ATM rated burst pressure.
