Metoprolol Tartrate / FlexMed is an intravenous cardioselective β‑blocker with rapid onset of action, designed for fast control of heart rate and management of arrhythmias. Due to its β1‑selectivity, it is widely used in cardiac arrhythmias, acute myocardial infarction, anesthesia, and diagnostic procedures where heart‑rate reduction is required.

Use
Metoprolol Tartrate / FlexMed is used for:
Cardiac arrhythmias, such as supraventricular tachycardia, atrial tachycardia, atrial fibrillation, and ventricular tachycardia.
Acute myocardial infarction, where it reduces heart rate, cardiac workload, and myocardial oxygen demand.
Anesthesia, for prevention or control of arrhythmias during induction and throughout anesthesia.
Diagnostic procedures, such as coronary CT angiography, dobutamine stress echocardiography, and dobutamine stress MRI.
